Terms of Service

Last updated: 1 May 2026

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of PrepFive (the “Service”), provided by KodingKorp, H-264, WeWork Berger Delhi One, Sector-16B, C-001/A2, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Noida, Uttar Pradesh 201301, India (“we”, “us”, “our”).

By installing, accessing, or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use PrepFive. The Service is not intended for children or minors and we do not knowingly process their personal data.

PrepFive is built for professional research use cases such as sales preparation, recruiting research, and meeting prep. It is not designed or licensed for emergency, medical, legal, financial, tax, investment, credit, insurance, employment, education, housing, public-benefit, or safety-critical decisions. Do not use PrepFive output as the sole basis for any such decision.

3. Acceptable use

You may use PrepFive only for lawful, professional purposes. You agree not to:

  • Use the Service in violation of any applicable law or third-party right.
  • Use the Service to make high-impact decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing, education, public benefits, or legal rights.
  • Use the Service as a data broker, people-search service, enrichment database, or to build a competing dataset.
  • Upload malware, illegal content, infringing content, or content you do not have the right to process.
  • Process special-category personal data (health, biometric, financial-account, government ID, children’s data) through the Service.
  • Attempt to bypass authentication, billing, rate limits, security controls, or access controls.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, scrape, probe, or interfere with the Service or its infrastructure, except where applicable law expressly permits.
  • Share, resell, or sublicense access without our written consent.
  • Use the Service in any way that could harm, overload, or impair our systems or our other users.

You are responsible for ensuring your use of PrepFive — and any research you carry out using the Service about other people — complies with the data protection and other laws that apply to you and to the people you research (including the GDPR, the UK GDPR, India’s DPDP Act, and applicable US state privacy laws).

4. Account

You must provide accurate account information and keep your sign-in credentials secure. You are responsible for activity under your account. Notify us promptly at [email protected] if you believe your account has been compromised.

We may suspend or terminate accounts for security risk, abuse, non-payment, breach of these Terms, store or platform requirements, or legal risk.

5. Subscription, billing, and renewals

PrepFive is offered on a free plan and on paid subscription plans. Prices, billing period, taxes, renewal terms, and cancellation paths are shown at checkout.

Paid plans are billed in US dollars by Dodo Payments, our merchant of record. Dodo issues invoices and handles taxes, refunds, and chargebacks; your purchase is also subject to Dodo’s applicable terms.

Paid subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account — see the Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

We may change plan pricing or features. We will give notice of recurring price changes before they take effect, and you may cancel before renewal if you do not accept the new price.

6. AI features

PrepFive uses third-party AI inference providers to generate briefs from your search inputs and from publicly available source content. AI output may be incomplete, out of date, or wrong, and you must review it before relying on it.

AI features are not a substitute for professional advice. PrepFive output must not be used to make high-impact decisions about employment, credit, insurance, housing, education, public benefits, or legal rights.

7. Intellectual property

PrepFive and all associated software, designs, trademarks, documentation, and product materials are the property of KodingKorp and our licensors. PrepFive is proprietary, closed-source software; these Terms do not grant you any ownership of, or licence to copy, modify, redistribute, or create derivative works from, our intellectual property except as expressly stated.

You retain ownership of any content or data you provide to the Service. You grant us a limited licence to host, process, transmit, display, and back up that content solely as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Service.

You may send us feedback. We may use that feedback to improve PrepFive without obligation to you, unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

8. Privacy

Our collection and use of personal data is described in our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. For business customers who need a Data Processing Addendum, contact [email protected].

9. Third-party services

PrepFive uses third-party services for authentication (Clerk), billing (Dodo Payments), AI inference (currently OpenAI), product analytics (PostHog), and cloud infrastructure. The Service may also link to external websites and stores. Third-party terms and privacy notices apply to those services. We are not responsible for third-party services outside our control.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” to the maximum extent permitted by law, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, or that briefs generated by PrepFive will be complete, accurate, or current.

We do not provide legal, medical, financial, tax, employment, education, or other regulated professional advice.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, KodingKorp will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, goodwill, data, or business interruption arising from your use of the Service. Our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service is limited to the greater of the fees you paid us for the Service in the three (3) months immediately before the claim, or US$50.

12. Mandatory consumer rights

Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you. Where those laws give you stronger rights than these Terms, those laws take precedence to the extent required.

13. Termination

You may stop using the Service and cancel any subscription at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms, create security or legal risk, fail to pay, or if we discontinue the Service.

On termination, deletion and (where promised) export of your data follow our Privacy Policy and the controls inside the product.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Subject to any non-waivable rights consumers have in their place of residence, you and KodingKorp agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Uttar Pradesh, India for any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when the Service, our business, the applicable law, or platform rules change. The updated version will show a new “Last updated” date. If the change is material, we will provide additional notice where required. Continued use of the Service after the updated Terms take effect means you accept them, where the law allows.
